We currently have an exciting opportunity for two Third Party Motor Claims Negotiators to join our Claims team in Haywards Heath.

As a Third Party Claims Negotiator, you’ll be responsible for proactively managing and efficiently processing a portfolio of third party property claims from outset to conclusion.  Your main duties will include validating policy indemnity for each claim, managing third party property damage (TPPD), including credit hire claims, in accordance with First Central’s procedures.
 
You’ll have a personal authority level to process claim payments and you’ll need to ensure all claims handled hold case specific reserves and that the company’s reserving philosophy is adhered to on each claim.
 
Successful candidates should also be able to identify potential fraudulent claims and action in accordance with company procedures.
 
Experience & knowledge
  • Demonstrable third party motor claims experience
  • Technical expertise with exposure to third party claims
  • Ideally exposure and experience of credit hire and liability (although, this is not essential)
  • Knowledge of regulatory framework relating to motor claims Understanding of the main principles of English Law as it applies in the technical motor claims and legal field
  • Previous knowledge of FCA requirements including Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and the regulatory framework relating to motor claims
  • Understanding of the RTA and Article 75 status within motor claims
