Auction of promises

Auction of promises

This November will see 1ST CENTRAL host its first ever Auction of Promises to raise money for the St Peter & St James Hospice, which provides in-patient and day care facilities for terminally ill patients in Sussex.

The online auction includes a number of lots generously provided by local companies, such as tickets to Lingfield races or a three course lunch for two with champagne at Gordon Ramsay’s Savoy Grill, as well as donations of people's time, like having your lawn mowed, language lessons or an hour’s cricket coaching.
Our aim is to raise around £7,000 from the event, which takes place from 9am on Monday 2nd November and will end at 4.30pm on Friday 6th November. It’s open to all employees, customers and the general public.
Auction organiser Stew Fuller says: “An Auction of Promises is an excellent way to raise money for worthy causes, and our auction has a great combination of products and events as well as people giving their time and skills. It will allow people to grab a bargain and help raise funds for charity in the process.
“With the volume of lots we have available, many bidders can look to bid on some of their favourite items or try something new. This is also a perfect opportunity to get loved ones a present or two for Christmas.”
To register for our auction, simply visit our auction website, click on 'View all items', register* and you’re all set to start bidding on any lots that take your fancy when the auction opens on 2nd November.

Bidders will be notified and invoiced following the completion of the auction, and all money generated, including sponsorship, will go directly to the Hospice.

*1ST CENTRAL and St Peters & St James Hospice employees do not need to register for the event.
