I’m the HR Process and Systems Analyst. As part of my role I develop an understanding of system generated workforce analytics, business processes, policies, and compliance requirements. Responsible for overseeing any upgrades, fixes and testing of functionality of SelectHR on Recruitment, HR and L&D elements and the mapping of all HR processes and ensuring these are kept up to date and relevant.

Tell us about your career path here at 1ST CENTRAL.
I joined the company as a Recruitment Advisor, became the team lead after two years and then moved from the Recruitment team to my current role in January 2017. I’ve always worked in the insurance industry and actually started out as a contact centre agent.
What do you love about your current role?
I like identify new ways that we can use the HR system to make everyone’s day to day working life easier. It’s a very varied role and there are lots of projects to keep me busy.
What’s the best thing about 1ST CENTRAL as a company?
The people. Everyone is friendly and cooperative and willing to share advice. I often see people go out of their way to help others.
What did you want to be as a kid?
I wanted to be a Paramedic. I liked the idea of helping people in need and having to think on my feet to make quick decisions.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy running and cycling to keep fit and spending time with friends and family.
